P.U.N.T.
Pediatric Cancer Collaborative! 

This powerful, grassroots community nonprofit is the “go to” source of assistance in WNY, for families facing pediatric cancer, as well as much needed Grief Counseling for sudden family losses.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it poses a threat to every facet of family life. There is a tidal wave of hardship – physical, financial, and emotional – that can last a lifetime.

P.U.N.T. is there every step of the way from diagnosis to recovery and even in the unthinkable wake of a loss.

The Backyard Classic is honored to be part of their team! ​

The 2025 Backyard Classic is happy to announce that this years tournament will be held at Buffalo Riverworks April 5-6 2025, for a two day event. The tournament will be held on the existing  two ice rinks at Buffalo Riverworks.

This will include -
All day Adult and Youth Play Saturday and Sunday  
9am-7pm April 5-6  2025

ALL PLAY STARTS AND FINISHES ON YOUR SCHEDULED DAY
SATURDAY OR SUNDAY 
THIS INCLUDES ROUND ROBIN AND PLAYOFFS

NO RETURN PLAY FOR PLAYOFFS

MORNING BRACKETS 9am - 2pm
AFTERNOON BRACKETS 2pm -7pm

All Backyard Classic rules will remain the same, including full size nets and goalies.
